CommandIR III Beta's Shipping Mid-May

CommandIR III Beta-Test May 17th - UPDATED

May 16th/2010 - UPDATE - A couple of technical and logistical challenges have shortly delayed the beta test, but if you are interested please read about the testing procedure & terms and let us know what you can test over at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CGSG386!

TORONTO May 2/2010 - Thank you to everybody inquiring about CommandIR III - we are pleased to announce that a limited run of CommandIR III's will be shipping to beta-testers the week of May 17th, 2010. They may or may not be identical to the final production version - that will depend on the test results.

CommandIR III will be available in two versions (Read More):

CommandIR III Basic

Supports: 4 IR emiters, 1 IR receiver

The new "CommandIR", CommandIR III Basic keeps it's independent 4-ports and drops the built-in IR receiver.  Instead, external receivers of 38Khz or 56kHz will be available.  We're proud to announce a reduction in cost due to some re-engineering and cost optimization.

CommandIR III Pro

Native Support: 8 IR emitters, 1 IR receiver

With Expansion: 24-port expansion pack delivers 32 IR control channels

Designed for multi-zone and commercial applications, the new CommandIR Pro raises the standard for integration.  Our first CommandIR that can directly interface with popular 12V-compatible IR devices with IR-in and IR-out ports means you can take control of more hardware right from your PC.

Email Image if you interested in beta-testing or if you've like an email on release. If the hardware changes between the beta-test and the retail release, all beta-testers will be upgraded at no cost.
