Skip LIRC with new CommandIR Utils
Feb 9/2011 - Announcing the brand new CommandIR Utilities (beta), a set of command line utilities to record and send IR codes with CommandIR without LIRC. Great for scripting, for set top box control, and for users who like their existing remote setup.
 
 
UPDATE Aug 26/2011 - CommandIR Utils Version 0.5 is now available, supporting the new commandird multi-client and networking daemon.
 
UPDATE Mar 26/2011 - CommandIR Utilities Version 0.2 is now out, supporting an unlimited number of CommandIRs on one machine.
 
UPDATE Mar 31/2011 - CommandIR Utilities Version 0.2 is now available for Beta testing on Windows 7.
 
UPDATE Jun 16/2011 - CommandIR Utilities Version 0.3 is now out, supporting "named" CommandIRs, changing between mini and pro operation modes, and more.
